Christmas

Ben and I had Christmas alone with Ava this year. My sister left on the 23rd of December and my dad and grandma came out on the 26th. It was nice to have a few days by ourselves, even though we were all sick. We went to Disney on Ice on Christmas Eve, because Ben had some executive suite tickets from his work. It was a lot of fun. The Hobsons were there, too, and I was able to get a picture of all of us together:

This is how much Ava enjoyed it.

The Lion King... as if you didn't know. :)

This was at the very end, right after the Tinkerbell segment.

Christmas was a lot of fun. We totally went overboard for Ava, but I'm sure this is just the first year of many years of doing that. Ava was just old enough to be able to tear the wrapping paper, but not big enough to understand why we kept taking it away from her mouth and hands once she got it. Here are a few pictures of the day:

Ava's Christmas jammies. I'm not sure if she's smiling or crying here.

Ben modeling his wetsuit that he got from me, Ava, my mom and sister. He's gonna kill me for posting this...

This was Ava's Christmas dress from Nana. I just happened to have a bow that matched. It makes her look like a Christmas present!

One night we enjoyed going to the aquarium and seeing lots of fun fish.

So the Holidays ended up being pretty busy for us. We dropped my grandma off at the airport on New Years Day, and that evening hopped on a plane and went to Utah for 5 days.
