While Daddy went to Priesthood session of Conference last night, I took Ava and some other girls in the ward to a pumpkin patch in Irvine. At first it looked a little ghetto, but once the kids saw the free face painting booth they were hooked. It was also free "do it yourself" face painting which led to some really unique looks. Other fun things they had there for the kids included a petting zoo and a bounce house. It was fun to get out for a bit and enjoy fall. I got a few snapshots of Ava amid the pumpkins. Her shirt says "daddy's little pumpkin."
We also went to Disneyland the other day with some ward friends and their kids. It was the best exercise I've had since before I was pregnant! I love being able to just go for a few hours and then head home. It's much better than trying to cram everything into one day. Here is a picture of Main Street at Disneyland- decorated for Halloween:
