Another First...

The most hilariously weird things keep happening to us this week. Today I looked out our kitchen window and saw one of the cows from our neighbor's pasture sticking it's head through our gate and eating our rose bush. That was all fine and dandy until I noticed that the cow was stuck. She kept trying to pull her head out of the gate, but with no luck. After trying to help her myself, and getting a few good "cow kisses" for my effort, I finally gave in and called our neighbor. Her son came and after a few good pushes, pulls, and a wrench to take apart our gate, we finally got her free. Hopefully the cow has learned her lesson... otherwise I'll be removing a pretty pink rose bush from our yard!
