I've been so sick up until this point that the idea of sitting and writing on my blog seemed overwhelming. BUT, last week Ben's family but my name on the temple prayer roll and we had a big family fast for me. Since then I haven't thrown up once! It may seem like a small thing, but for me and as sick as I've been it's a miracle.
Most of you know, but a year ago from Valentine's Day weekend, Ben surprised me with a trip to New York. I had no idea where I was going until his parents dropped me off at the airport. We went to see Wicked on Broadway, then at the end of the night he proposed to me on top of the Empire State Building. It was perfect! I remember I started to cry, and he told me, "People are going to think I'm abusing you if you keep crying." What a romantic, eh? It was still a wonderful trip. I can't believe how lucky I am to be married to such a wonderful person!
